I had a tnt2 card and was told by Zander (of Nvidia) the 6629 driver
was broken and would not work with the tnt2 cards.

So I "upgraded" to a Geforce 4000MX and guess what? It (according to
Zander) won't work with that card either.

He suggested either rolling back to the 6111 driver or wait for a new
driver to be released by Nvidia that would fix these issues.

It should be out any day now, really. (but don't hold your breath!)

My only problem is the 6111 Nvidia driver doesn't recognize the
kernel-source for my kernel as being the valid kernel source, so it
won't build.....

So if I want the 6111 driver to build, I guess I'll have to compile my
own kernel.
