Contextual Right Click Menu in Evolution 2.1.6 in Hoary

I have been a Evolution User since I moved to Linux almost 2 years ago,
Evolution is one of the reasons why I stuck with Linux, Because it
worked so well, with this last update, the ability for me to mark things
as read, or apply my email filters without using the keyboard or using
the drop down menus, this is annoying and greatly effects workflow on my
part.. is this a bug, or a new feature or a byproduct of the build
process?
