Cd-Text Extract

Hi, I have the need to ripp a lot of cd's that already have cd-text 
track names, but i can't find the way to read cd-text from audio cds. 
I'm using xmms to ripp now, because using, cdda2wav or cdparanoia take 
forever to ripp a cd, that is anoying too... Any Sugestions?
