Use Ubuntu on a laptop

what laptop are you using ? i am using an acer travelmate 2300 and have
no problems except for battery indicator (which always reports wrongly)
and wireless which i i had to use ndiswrapper.it is not difficult to
configure.the steps are pretty straightforward.let me know if you need
help.
