laptop - any suggestions for a friend of mine?

I have a Dell 5160 that runs Ubuntu quite well. The only minor drawback
is the wireless card in it is a Broadcom. You can then use ndiswrapper
or (like me) just go buy an Atheros or Prism 2 wireless PCMCIA card and
do it that way.

The only drawback to this laptop is it's a P4-M, meaning battery life is
about 2-3 hours, plus it's a little larger than some of the Centrino
counterparts.
