AMD Turion 64 Laptop Advice?

I just got an HP nx6125 myself. I haven't had much time at all to try
it out. I installed breezy colony-2 (amd64) on it, and the installation
works if you boot with "vga=771 noapic nolapic". Installation of the
fglrx radeon driver seems to be a bit troublesome (the ATI kernel
module does not compile with 2.6.11) and gnome hangs for me at the
moment. The latter problem seems to be a known bug with gnome-session
though, hopefully it'll be fixed soon. I'm sure things can be made to
work, but it seems to require some tweaking.
