 No need for proprietary drivers. In the installer, you can configure

 I've already installed Windows XP on my RAID-0 array. Is the partitioning 
tool
smart enough to let me install Ubuntu in the unallocated space? By the way,
is the non-proprietary kernel driver for hardware-based RAID?
