pxe boot, "live cd", ubuntu kiosk

hi all,
curios if anyone has successfully been able to boot the "live cd" from
pxe. obviously this could be very cool for an internet cafe, etc, where
a new "install" is performed after a reboot.
i get well along with pxe, but the installer looks for a cdrom and the
kernel doesn't seem to have net drivers, so doing an nfs mount to fake a
local cdrom is not currently possible.
the kernel for a netinstall correctly finds the network card, but then
the installer looks for a mirror ...
any ideas?
cheers
charles
