Ubuntu on IBM x40 laptop

Hi there,



I also own a X40 and I really have serious problems getting the sound
to work. The systems detects the sound card correctly I guess the
modules are also loaded correctly but sometimes when booting it tells
me something like alsa mic mismatch or so. 

On a new installed system everything worked just fine !



By the way: can somebody send me a kernel 2.6.12 config file ?  What
patches do I need ?
