I don't say that transcode was available on Debian, I just say that in
Debian I see this kind of things solved. What is the mean of having
available on repositories a package that depends in another package that
is not available?

At least a couple of lines saying: Transcode is not available, if you
want to use dvdrip try installing transcode from here <URL> and try it
again.

That was I want to say, sorry if I don't express it correctly.
