Breezy Kernel powers off system during boot

To be more precise: My laptop is built with that barebone:

pci=noapic, nolapic and acpi=off don't help, it just powers off when
getting to starting hotplug or a few seconds later. Nothing shows up in
the logs, as they are not written yet ...
I just don't know where to start finding out what the problem is.
