I think you mean from the wiki, which has it's own subscription 
mechanism (the subscribe tab on every page). You're right to think this 
is different from the mailing lists.

If you subscribed to one or more wiki pages in the past, you can 
unsubscribe this way: log in under your old username, the one you 
subscribed as. Then click on the subscribe tab for any wiki page and you 
should see an unsubscribe button. Or, you may see "you are subscribed to 
these other pages", in which case follow that link and then you'll see 
the unsubscribe button.
