Is USB mounting improved under current Hoary?

As it stands in Warty, if I plug in my USB key after my laptop's been
running for a while, it doesn't mount. If I plug it in right after
startup, it automounts perfectly, but if I unplug it - after
unmounting properly, mind you - it will never mount again, until I
reboot. dmesg shows me that it's being seen, detected as a storage
device, the driver loaded, etc - but not mounted and displayed. Are
things improved in Hoary?
