LDAP and BerkeleyDB

Hey,

Ive been trying to install OpenLDAP - first time round ./configure said that
gcc was missing, so i installed that from APT. Then, it gave an error saying
that the BerkeleyDB backend was missing, so i downloaded and installed the
latest version (4.3.27) from http://www.sleepycat.com. Now it still
complains that BDB is missing:

checking for db.h... no
configure: error: BDB/HDB: BerkeleyDB not available

Anyone know how I can cure this? Thanks,

Ben Hodgson
