LDAP and BerkeleyDB

You probably need to install the libdb{version}-dev  package so that
you have the header files as well as the binaries for the berkeley
database version you are running.

if you installed bdb from source from sleepycat, you need to make sure
that the header files are in your path.

./configure is not in fact checking for the existence of the binary
library, but for the header file that defines the interface to that
library
