Networking

Hi:
I've run into an odd sort of problem. When I use the menu selection
Computer > Network, I can pick up the Win98 box from either Linux
computer. However, the two Linux machines cannot see each other. What
am I missing here? Does this only work with Samba? Both Linux boxes
running Warty with all updates.
I know that I can enable Windows Networking under the General tab in
Computer > System Configuration > Networking, but I'm not rather not use
that unless I have no choice. Is NFS not recognized by the default
kernels?
Thanks,
Ed
