I had display issues with a 2001FP that were solved by telling the monitor
to resync (using the OSD menu).

If you have done that and you are still having problems, the next thing I
would try is to verify the X server is using the proper video timings.  Use
OSD and/or the xvidtune application to display and tweak the timings.  I
don't know about the 2005FPW, but many LCD displays work best with a 60hz
refresh rate.
