I am aware that 2 cards can be used. With our current machines I tried
adding an additional pci card and had nothing but problems with it.
I would very much prefer 1 card. In the past I have used nVidia Quardo
cards and I know for a fact that they work REALLY well under linux
with nvidias driver. I am looking for a Dell machine that has all
working hardware which either comes with one of these nVidia cards or
one the offers it as an option.
I am really looking for experiences with the rest of the hardware.
Does the motherboard/NIC/HD's(with DMA)/CD/DVD/Sound/etc... work, from
there if it has an AGP port I will just put the nVidia Quadro card in
it. I also would prefer there be no existing on-board video also.
Thanks,
Matt
