Problem with Samba printing in Windows / (Linux fine)

hi,

well my problem is as follows:

I have a Cups/Samba Printserver running Hoary, which works just fine.
BUT...accessing the printer from any windows client is extremly slow.
printing small pages or opening the properties menu in windows takes
several minutes. on the other hand, printing from linunx clients is fast.
same goes for booting linux on one of those windows clients and printing.
so it can't be the hardware (wifi) nor the printserver settings.

[smb.conf]

[global]
workgroup = WG
netbios name = SoMi-Schlepper
security = SHARE
passdb backend = guest
printing = cups
printcap name = cups
wins support = yes
local master = yes
preferred master=yes
os level = 255
[printers]
comment = All Printers
path = /var/spool/samba
printer admin = root
guest ok = Yes
printable = Yes
use client driver = Yes
browseable = No

I tried requiring a login, but that also didn't affect the speed.
Filebrowsing and downloading from the Server is fast though, regardless of
the OS.

I appreciate any help :)
