Internet Connectivity Sleeps

Hi All,

My problem is fairly small, but quite an annoyance all the same. After
some time being idle, maybe 15 min or so my internet connectivity falls
asleep. But she never wakes up! I've tried restarting the device and
that does not work ifconfig up down (left and right!) and nothing seems
to work other than a reboot.

I'm running Ubuntu Hoary 5.04 on an IBM Thinkpad R51 (2889). I haven't
heard of to many people running Ubuntu on this machine but... maybe one
of you have had this problem. Thanks in advance for your help.

Best,
