I have the same problem on a dual PIII homebrew with nothing but
keyboard, mouse, monitor and ethernet currently plugged in.
Mine is a Warty to Hoary upgrade... upgrade seemed to be fine,
then I rebooted and its still hanging at the hotplug subsystem.
This homebrew is the family computer, I successfully upgraded my
personal laptop without a significant hitch yesterday!!!
Help!!!!
