Upgrade to Hoary: Ubuntu-update

Thanks, Niran, that's probably it. I was running totem-xine on Warty
and probably removed ubuntu-desktop long ago. I'll try that.

(To answer previous questions, I had done "dist-upgrade". So
"dist-upgrade" does not automatically install new packages that are
part of the distro.)
