tvtime locks machine solid

FWIW,
I have tvtime running here, but the colors are way off.  Adjusting hue 
to the max setting helps, but I still can't get it right.  Xawtv and 
motv look better, but often I can't get the picture to display.  
Clicking on a channel will make it flash briefly, but it goes away 
again.

kernel 2.6.8.1, k7 optimization with pchdtv 1.6 drivers
AthlonXP2000+, 640MB
ATI Radeon 9200SE (x.org driver)
PCHTDV-3000 card
