Hello, I had searched and found a guide on how to install SCIM in
Ubuntu, and it worked -- similar method to this here, but how about
SCIM in KUBUNTU?
It worked in the pre-release HORAY 5.04 of KUBUNTU, but only in
firefox. No other applications worked. Any ideas?
The above applies to UIM as well. Niether seem to work properly in
KUBUNTU. I spent many hours trying to get them to work.... ](*,)
For the time being I am therfore using UBUNTU. Not that that is a bad
thing.... Wonderful distro!
Oh, and did I mention that SCIM is much better than just simply UIM?
As well as being more aesthetically pleasing, It gives you input
options in about 30 langauges!
Cheers!
