Openoffice on Hoary/AMD64

Here I am again...
I'm still fighting with OpenOffice and printer.

I've been able to use oopadmin to add and configure a new printer, as 
well to print the test page (still from  oopadmin).

But when I try to print from Writer, Calc or whatever nothing happens. 
The "Printing X of X pages..." box pops up but the nothing.

The printer is working with everything else except OO...

Any clue? Am I missing something? Am I the only one with this problem?
