Yes, I have the same problem. The system locks up, I cannot use any
type of key press, Ctrl-Alt-F1, F2 .... F7, etc. Ctrl-Alt-Bkspc,
Ctrl-ScrlLck, Ctrl-Alt-ScrlLck, Ctrl-Alt-Del.
But I can still move the mouse. The windows freeze, the little System
Monitor applet freezes too.
I am using Gnome as the desktop, but when I run the konqueror from the
menu, once the konqueror opens the system locks up. This always happens
this way, very consistent.
In addition, the funny thing is, when I browse using firefox to
http://tinyurl.com/3hofk
and click URL: commons
the system also locks up, exatcly like the above.
?????
I am doing serious work, yes it's my fault not to wait the release
version. I have no patience.
Now, how can I undo the latest update last night???
I can hardly use my system if it is like this, when I don't know
when/how the system might lock up. And it can happen any time.
