non-free should just work

Ummm... Ok. I'll take your word for it, but is there any chance you
could explain further? Please understand I'm not in the business of
badgering you guys (in fact I think Warty is one of the best
distributions available). Here's how I see things (which may or may
not have any relation to reality -- that's why I'm asking):
There are many non-free packages in universe at the moment (well,
flash at least, as well as the nescessary stuff to read / write mp3s,
and possibly more). What's the matter with sticking another package
in universe that pulls some of those non-free packages together under
one roof?
This is a particularly odd e-mail for me to be sending as I'm not an
advocate of using non-free software of any kind, but I can see where
it would make many people's lives easier w/o an incredible ammount of
work (again, please correct me if I'm wrong... I don't want to sound
like an ass).
So... let the flames fly, I'm just curious.
