Is this connected via USB? My m505 is found on /dev/ttyUSB1 (not the
default /dev/pilot).

I have loads of other problems between evolution and gnome-pilot
(glacial performance in evolution's calendar, for example), but at
least gnome-pilot sees and (usually) syncs with the Palm.
