how to install IIIMF and SCIM to ubuntu

Hello,
I'm new to ubuntu and I'm a Chinese.
I tried using ubuntu and the feeling is great.
But it seems that the Chinese support of it is not yet already.

I know I have to install IIIMF and SCIM for Chinese input.
And I tried to install them with apt-get.
But they wasn't there in the default source of ubuntu...

I have these questions
1. How to install IIIMF and SCIM to ubuntu?
2. Will these two package be included in official source list?
