 I can not help with FireFox, but renember, apt-cache is your friend
(as google is;-)

emil->~->apt-cache search manage startup scripts
sysv-rc-conf - SysV init runlevel configuration tool for the terminal
emil->~->apt-cache search rcconf
rcconf - Debian Runlevel configuration tool
