Quality drop in the latest version?

Hi Matt,

Please accept my apologies if the tone of my last email was rude. I just
re-read it and it was rather abrupt. That was not my intention.

The two builds were on the same machine. No hardware changes have been made.
The machine is a Dell Dimension 4600 P4 with an nVidia GeForce4 MX 440.

It did, which is why this new build is odd. Could this be a kernel problem?
I haven't made any changes other than a few apt-gets.

I installed:

supertux
tuxracer
thunderbird
java2sdk (from the Sun bin release)
Eclipse (just unzipped)

All from the universe unless otherwise stated.

I did an "apt-get nvidia-glx" both times from the universe, but I guess the
package could have changed between the two builds.

It tries to open the Documents folder on my machine. That is straight after
the build and a few apt-gets. I'll check again tomorrow just to be sure.
BTW, this was from a link that I added to the panel, rather from the
Application menu.

Nothing happens when I drag and drop the files. Refreshing the view shows no
change.

Any help I can give would be fine. Just let me know. If you need me to
install the old version of Ubuntu I still have the ISO.

Regards

Darren.
