Suggestions on packages to add to Ubuntu "main"

I don't want the distribution to be over 1 CD (I like the one CD
distribution too), but I just had a couple suggestions for what seemed
like easy additions to the CD, as the ISO is currently is over 100MB
less that a full CD. I didn't realize the kernel headers and kernel
images took up so much space - however, it still would work to include
the 686 kernel headers/source (which probably would be the most used) on
the main CD. Also, I thought it would be nice just to have a very basic
KDE/Qt installation (mostly for apps depending on it). In addition to
these, having winmodem drivers would be a great help as people wouldn't
have to find some alternate way to download them (by rebooting into
Windows, or finding another type of networking that may or may not be
convenient. Something like captive-ntfs would also fit into this "new
user convenience" department.
To include these would take up something like:
kernel-image 48MB (for 686)
kernel-headers 17MB (for 686)
kde-core 22.8MB
winmodem drivers total 10-20MB
captive ntfs (would have to be added to ubuntu - not currently in debian
- 15MB
This probably would fit on 1 CD.
