How do I set up PPP and where/how do I get wvdial?

It wasn't on the sounder 9 disk, but it is part of the main Ubuntu
repository, and is present on recent daily CDs.

It is now, it just wasn't ready for that role yet at the time that the
Sounder 9 CD was released.

wvdial is not the only way to configure a PPP connection; the installer uses
a different method.
