Single click results in double click

Forgot to mention that my mouse never did this before. It only happens
on Ubuntu.

I have tried plain Debian and Mandrake (and Windows). Works fine.

My mouse is a SUN USB mouse.

I think it is a software problem.

It didn't happen with the preview release of Ubuntu. It has started
after apt-get upgrade.
