Games : 'FlightGear' hangs ! :o(

Just tried Tux Racer then. Well, I think that 3D must be enabled as I
get decent graphics and it's very smooth/fluid, but after 30 seconds
playing, it hung the machine just like Flightgear did, and I had to
restart it (it was really completely frozen, completely crashed).

On the thread you pointed me to, they say talk about problems with color
depth, something like it is set by default to 24, but this causes memory
problems, and that it should be set to 16 bit. Maybe this memory problem
crashed 'X', hence the whole system. Will try and do what they suggest
then, tweak X's conf file to switch to 16 bits depth, see what happens.
