Games : 'FlightGear' hangs ! :o(

Okay, I switched from 24 to 16 bits depth. Now I don't know if it's just
good luck or not, but I have managed to play for 10 minutes for Tux and
it didn't hang.

So I will try again Flightgear now. problem.... I reinstalled Ubuntu
recently so I lost Flightgear ! With my dial-up, will take about 3 hours
to download it again... :-/

I will try to ask synaptic to download only the package (not install
it), this way I can put the package on my data hard drive, on a safe
place, and I can just install it with 'dpkg -i ' IIRC.
