I visited the website using firefox 0.9. I have no problem with the
layout and colour scheme (but maybe some other color than the yellow in
the box).

I dont think there's anything like it before. Maybe you can add some
simple explanation or history on linux / open source. And to end of the
guide you could probably point them to other guide websites such as
http://ubuntuguide.org
