Ubuntu KDE

I'm one of those that's really on the fence about this. While I can
see the logic behind choosing Gnome and unifying behind one DE, I
really do feel KDE is superior in many ways at this point.
I don't think it's feasible, to switch or even endorse KDE at this
point, but it doesn't seem out of the question to sponsor Chris Cheney
to help updated the KDE packages so they're at least up to where Sid
is and make sure the packages work reasonably well with ubuntu.
As it's been pointed out that the best burning app is still KDE based
and there are some features (ehm browsing samba shares) that still
work much better under KDE than even in Hoary. And if ubuntu's model
is based on support I can't see how having KDE support as an
alternative won't be helpful going forward.
Thanks,
Sander
