Ubuntu, KDE and PPC LiveCD

To achieve the above requires pulling together:

  a) PowerPC Live CD
  b) Good default KDE setup and chosen applications

There are people working on the PowerPC Live CD at the moment;  and I think
there's a few people (eg.  Jonathan Riddell) interested in getting
recent/unstable KDE packages recompiled for Ubuntu.

You never know, maybe one day Knoppix will be based off a combination of the
the Ubuntu LiveCD and some KDE packages, rather than the other way round.  ;-)

It's probably worth noting that:

  a) The Ubuntu and GNOME release-managers are currently the same person.
  b) The Ubuntu and GNOME stable release-dates are the same.

Of course, this could just be /pure/ coincidence... ;-)

If you can pointless them out (and possibly even teach other people how to
fix it aswell) maybe we can get those bugs riddelled out for Hoary (the next
stable release).
