Ubuntu Dallas also has an identi.ca group (which, unlike Facebook, MySpace, and the like is Open Source) which is in dire need of members. Also, Ubuntu Dallas is always welcoming active members to participate in meetings and drink a beer. Let us know if you are interested in either one of those.
