Hello:

I remember that someone was referring to running a drupal website and
thought that they could help me out with the email problem.

I have reinstalled the server edition of ubuntu fiesty at least seven
times in the last couple of days trying to get drupal 5.1 to email me
the administrator password to configure the site.

I want to use the SMTP server at my ISP and can't seem to get anything
to work. I easily found a workaround for mediawiki using the PEAR
framework. Also mediawiki tells you the administrator password, so you
can configure the site and fix the email thing later.

I am getting to the point where I am just going to setup sendmail or
whatever stmp mail program that Ubuntu recommends and slove the problem
that way. But the doesn't help me setup drupal for other people that
don't want to run SMTP.

Also if anyone can give we information on virtual hosting a drupal
website I would also like to know about that too.

Peace
