I agree. It would make it a whole lot easier to administer things.

I recently had an opportunity to get a tour of the engineering facilities a
couple weeks ago at CSU in Fort Collins. I was thrilled to see thin clients
running Linux. They seemed to be from sun Microsystems and were running
solaris, but hey it's a Linux thin client lab. I think our guide said most
of the school was like that. Even in the dorms. (except for the library)

I thought it made a whole lot of sense, and seemed very efficient.
