[Ubuntu Chicago] Serna Free XML editor: Debian > Ubuntu

Hi All,

Debian has packaged the Serna Free XML editor in their unstable repositories
[0], and I wanted to see about getting it in Ubuntu.

I tried installing the Debian package on 10.04, but there were some
unresolved dependencies.  For one, they've set it to depend on Python 2.5,
while Ubuntu uses 2.6.  I'd be willing to field bug reports for the app and
work with upstream on submitting reports / patches, etc.  What would we need
to do to get it packaged in Ubuntu, though?
