I don't have any real issues with this.  I think there are people who are on
the list or are part of the team who haven't been involved in some time.  If
they still want to participate (or lurk, which is fine), they could renew .
. .  if not, their team membership would expire.

Some of what you've mentioned could be done pretty quickly.  I would
volunteer, but know that I'm too locked-in as it is.
