Aren't we using Drupal or something? I have no idea actually. But if we 
are, they have a great calendar/events module that use all the time. It 
comforms to iCal so you can easily use it in your calendaring products 
that can import standard iCal. There is also an RSVP module that people 
can use to respond to the event. Just a thought... :)
