I'd be in.
I read a ton of books because I spend 3 hrs on CTA a day.
I'd prefer if rather than just reading Linux books all day we made it more
of a computing/nerd general book club.
Some suggestions to start:
Just For Fun (Linus Torvalds, this needs no rationale)
Cathedral and the Bazaar (Again, obvious reasoning)
Feynmann Lectures on Computing (Got this a while ago, really interesting
read by one of the smartest people in recent history)
Any Neal Stephenson/William Gibson/Phillip K. Dick
If any of the non coders wanted to pick one of the free python.org books,
I'd also be willing to work through that with the group at whatever pace we
chose to help with debugging and understanding concepts.
Thoughts?
