Ubuntu-Chicago Off topic KDE vvs Gnome

I have to word this carefully so it doesn't come off sounding like a
flame in an email.
I am actually legitimately interested in a list comparing pros and
cons of KDE vs GNOME from some people who are decently knowledgeable
in each.
This might make a good presentation for the Oct Meeting - set up two
machines side by side and show how to do similar things on both
machines at the same time.
Thoughts?
