Ubuntu-Chicago Off topic KDE vvs Gnome

To each their own.

I use my setup for day to day stuff like evolution and firefox -
and I do all my development in Eclipse or in the case of Python, PHP,
and HTML in Gedit.

I'm more comfortable with how Gnome is set up, and I don't need the KSuite.

Also - I just set up XUbuntu on an old dual p3 box, and damn does that
run well and hardware thats almost 10 years old.
