a bit cheaper than either of these - a Palm Z22, I thought, as I really 
only need a mobile diary and contacts (+ notes, maybe).  I suppose this 
would sync with Evolution like the TX and Tungsten.  I might consult you 
again for advice about the syncing if I find that trickier than you two 
experts did!
