Hi,

I was at a friends yesterday where we attempted to run the Edgy live cd, but
to no avail. The same CD boots fine in my laptop, but refused to run in his.
Dapper boots fine in his machine.

After some searching on the internet, it appears that there is an issue
between Edgy and jmicron ide controllers.

When this bug is fixed, would we be right in assuming that a new version of
Edgy would be availible to download, or would he have to wait until edgy+1?
For those who are interested, his motherboard is an "ASUS P5WDH Deluxe"

Thanks,

Adam Challis
